These were taken on the last sunny day we are supposed to have for a while. I LOVE fall photos. I have known Connor for a long time. His sister and I were good friends when we were in high school. It's so crazy that he is a senior now!! Congrats Connor!

Today I went through ALL the photos I have on my computer and completely organized them. And in the process I found a few photos that I forgot I had. I know I have posted this one on here before but I just love the simplicity of this photo so I thought I would share it again. This is in Idaho a couple miles from my parents house. The moon was just beginning to ride above the wheat fields and the scene was just perfect.

The light was awesome! Not to mention the location!!

I. LOVED. THIS. COUPLE!! They were so stinking cute together! Their wedding was super small and intimate and everything was just beautiful. They got married at a relative's house that was right on the Clackamas River.....GORGEOUS! The light was so perfect. These two were so fun to play around with. That's literally what we did the whole time I was there...play.... and I just happened to be taking pictures of them playing. So fun.

This is one of my room mates from college. She is having her first baby any time now!! Her due date is TODAY! I am so excited for her and I had so much fun taking her maternity pictures! They turned out great! Congrats Kori!

This is Ammaron. I got to shoot him with his best friend and cousin D.J. at the same time which was really fun. Both of them are tough guys, which is why it was hard for me to get them to smile :) but I really like the tough guy photos. We found some really cool spots to use as backdrops!

Chase's Senior Photos

I had the opportunity to photograph some super cute boys while I was in Idaho visiting my parents. This is Chase. He was so easy to work with, he just did whatever I wanted him to do. He is really into duck hunting so it was fun to shoot him with his duck hunting gear on. We got eaten alive by mosquitoes while we were shooting by the Snake River but it was overall a really fun shoot!

This was such a fun shoot! We got to ride around the golf course in a golf cart to the different photo spots so it was a lot of fun. These are a few that I've gone through so far. There will be more to come but I'm all photoed out :) Enjoy! P.S. - I haven't figured out why my photos look so stinking fuzzy on this blog. I promise they aren't out of focus!! haha!

The Beach and the Gorge

My parents have been in town for almost a week now and we had the opportunity to go to the Oregon Coast. We went to Astoria and Canon Beach. We also went to the Columbia River Gorge and did some hiking. The last few pictures are of Oneonta Gorge. I've never hike to the end of the gorge but just the beginning of it is stunning. You have to climb over a treacherous, slippery, moss-covered, log jam. Then you have to wade through chest-deep freezing cold water, then you get to see the gorgeous waterfall at the end of the gorge. I was not dressed for cold water wading, and I didn't have the proper shoes to climb over slippery logs. So that will have to wait for another time. But in the mean time here are some pictures of the gorge opening. The beach pictures were so much fun. It was such a great day to go to the beach. I love the black and whites of Marlie!!

Lisa & Matt Sneek Peek

So I rented a tilt-shift lens and it was SO fun to use. It was a little difficult because the tilt-shift lenses don't have an auto-focus so I had to manually focus everything which can be hard sometimes. But I think I got some good photos with that lens! It was a lot of fun to use!

This couple is so stinking cute! I didn't have to direct them hardly at all! It was so easy and natural to photograph them. I love it when my subjects are comfortable behind the camera. It makes my job a little less stressful. Let me know what you think of the tilt-shift photos! I would love to get some opinions!

Family Visit

These are my nephews, my sister-in-law came out from Michigan with them to visit and I made sure they had the chance to go ride and see the new baby. We had so much fun with them!! And they LOVED the horses.

We went to Lewis and Clark State Park today, but the trail that leads to the Sandy river was flooded... so we played in the water!! ... and maybe did some karate :)

And played with the dog's ball...

I promise no one got hurt in this picture... it looks a LOT more scary than it actually was :)

Originally we had her pant legs rolled up but when that didn't stop her from getting soaked, we went all white trash and let her run around in a diaper.

My friend's horse had a baby a few days ago. He is SO STINKING CUTE!! They name all their horses after songs from the 50's and 60's so we decided to name him "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da" after the Beatles song, and then just call him "Obi" for short. So cute!!

They quickly became friends.... or at least Marlie thought so :)

Ok, remember that little baby a couple of posts back? Yeah, this is her six months later. Guys, shes only 6 months old but shes wearing the same size clothes and diapers as my almost 2 year old... can you say CHUNK??!?? She is SOO cute though! And don't you love those blue eyes? Gorgeous!
